Destiny 2 Will Have Meaningful Features on PC According to Activision

Delivering a steady stream of new content will also be a top priority.

During a recent earnings call, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg made it clear that, with the upcoming launch of Destiny 2, the company is committed both to rectifying one of the major complaints players had with the first Destiny game and to ensuring the game’s PC version meets the expectations of the PC gaming community.

Over the years, Destiny’s playerbase has been forced to sit through several long droughts wherein no substantial new content for the game was released. Hirshberg pledged that won’t be the case for Destiny 2 thanks to the “steady stream of new content” developer Bungie apparently has in the works.

For now, though, that pledge feels very much like a “we’ll believe it when we see it” sort of promise to many fans. As for the Destiny 2’s PC version, Hirshberg had the following to say: "We're committed to delivering meaningful features that are bespoke for the PC community."

Hirshberg didn’t get into specifics, but PC fans are undoubtedly hoping that he was referring to more in-depth PC customization options, and perhaps even support for third-party mods. Hopefully we’ll find out more during Destiny 2’s full gameplay reveal on May 18th.
